Did psychic Chris Robinson really predict the 9/11 attack on the twin towers of the World Trade Center? – Pauline Anderson.
He dreamt of the attack several times prior to the event and with extraordinary accuracy. The first dream – or rather nightmare – was on August 12, 2001 while at the University of Arizona.

Chris’ precognitive abilities were being investigated by Gary E. Schwartz, PhD, an American psychologist, author, parapsychologist and professor at the University of Arizona and the director of its Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health.
In each of the tests, he scored what Schwartz described as a mind-blowing ten out of ten, but more of that in a moment.
Christopher Robinson was born in August 1951 in England. The only unusual episode in his young life was undergoing major cardiac surgery at the age of ten.
Later a television repairman, at the age of 35 Chris began to dream of future events. He came to prominence in July 1993 when he dreamt of two planes colliding at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. They crashed, but both pilots survived.
Chris phoned the police in advance and told them what he had seen. He then attended the display as a visitor on July 24.
He saw a MiG-29 fighter jet slice through a second MiG aft of the cockpit. Both crashed in flames, but the Russian pilots ejected safely, one when flying upside down. A BBC commentator said they had “jumped out from under the coffin’s lid.”
Chris was soon in regular contact with the police. “You can’t get stuff like this,” he said in an interview, “without them being interested in you.”

Of his work at this time, he said: “I would dream that somebody was going to be murdered. In the dreams, I was the one being killed, and that’s quiet frightening.” On other occasions he saw people and events as an observer.
Chris dreamt beforehand of the 1991 IRA mortar-bomb attack on Downing Street, the IRA bombing of St Albans later that year, the 1996 IRA bombing of Canary Wharf and the 2009 Graff Diamonds heist in London’s New Bond Street.
In 1997, he co-wrote and published Dream Detective with Andy Boot. Four years later, Gary E. Schwartz invited him to take part in a series of tests.
“The purpose of this controlled blinded experiment,” declared Schwartz, “was to determine if Mr Christopher Robinson, a British citizen who claims to have the ability to receive information about future events in his dreams, could dream specific details – and in particular patterns of details – about ten different locations that he would be taken to, one location per day, for ten consecutive days.”
This is how the experiment was conducted. A secret list of ten locations was prepared and held by a third party. The location for the day was randomly selected and placed in a sealed envelope.
Each night Chris would dream and write down details of where he would be taken the following day. For example, for Day 2 he wrote, “shops and workshops… fabricating things… metal.”

A test examiner drove Chris to Tubac (an artist colony in Arizona) to a specific shop, which had metal sculptures and a workshop in the back.
For Day 3, he wrote, “Heads, lots of heads… belts, leather, jeans.” Chris was taken by car to the Tucson Mall to the lower level of Dillard’s Department Store.
Upon entering the shop, “the very first sales counter had a large selection of mannequin heads for sale” as well as jeans.
On Day 4, he wrote, “Suns, mirrors, LCDs, telescopes, Mount Olympus (after his 35mm camera), airplanes, hangars, a pitched propeller.”
Chris was driven “to Kitt Peak National Laboratory (at the top of a huge mountain) to the world’s largest solar telescope.” He “ate lunch at a nearby airport restaurant with hangars that had a large pitched propeller in front.”
In each of these ten experiments Chris scored maximum marks. It was while he was staying in Arizona that he had his nightmare about the 9/11 attacks.
On August 12 he dreamt of a plane being highjacked and flown into a large building in New York City.
He mentioned it, but Schwartz was sceptical and more interested in his own experiments. When Chris returned to England, he continued to dream about a highjacked plane crashing into two large New York tower blocks. Many died in the tragedy.

He made notes and drawings, and on September 9 wrote to the US Embassy in London. On September 11, as the world knows, two hijacked airliners were flown into the Twin Towers.
Chris said in an interview that regular contact with the police ended in 1996 and he has since worked mainly with intelligence agencies. He still dreams, either backwards or forwards in time. No one has been able to explain how the process works.
Is Chris tapping into some sort of etheric database or receiving information from the spirit world? Either way, he has posted a number of videos on YouTube at dreamdetective51
